Pitpit 251 'Herby'

Sold

Signature Model 'Herby'

In intensive collaboration with the bassist Daniel Pflumm, alias HerdplattenHerbert, we present the signature model Pitpit 251 'Herby'. The careful selection of high-quality materials and the unique color scheme give this bass not only an unmistakable look, but also a unique sound. The ergonomic C-profile of the neck also makes it the perfect companion for extensive concert tours.

Highlights

The Pitpit 251 Short Scale Bass promises an incredible playing feel. Its wide nut width gives the feeling of playing a long scale bass, despite its compact 31.1" scale length. The Alder body in matte Flamingo Pink is a visual treat along with the European Maple neck and handcrafted plastic parts. With 3.54 kg weight and the ergonomically optimized shape, this bass is perfect for long sessions.

Pickups

The Nick Silver Mr. Iggy pickups, together with the flexible four-position circuit, produce a wide range of crisp single-coil sounds inspired by the '51 P-Bass design. They delight with their bony vintage sound and a 4-way pickup selector switch with cool out-of-phase sound option. The Alnico V magnets are blackened and in combination with the recycled plastic covers they give the Short Scale Bass a distinctive look.

Wood & Hardware

High-quality hardware such as the Schaller 3D Bass bridge, the weight-optimized HipShot tuners or the handmade brass saddle are explicitly selected and manufactured to ensure the best possible handling and ergonomics. The body is made of three-piece alder. Neck and fingerboard are made of rift-sawn European maple.
